Usually, the series sees a handful of celebrities camping out in the Australian jungle. However - due to the current pandemic we've found ourselves in - operations have been set up closer to home.
Closer to my home, that is. This is because it's going to be held inside a castle somewhere in Wales.
As I usually do each year, I'll run through the list of the announced camp mates and tell you whether I know them or not.

No, I didn't know Jordan North. He's a Radio 1 DJ.
Mo Farah
Yes, I know Mo.
Beverley Callard
Yes, I know Beverly Callard because she used to play Liz McDonald in Coronation Street.
Giovanna Fletcher
Hadn't heard of this 'author and podcaster' until the time of writing this blog post.
AJ Pritchard
I knew the name 'AJ Pritchard' from things I may have read about Strictly Come Dancing as he used to be a pro dancer on the series. However, I would have never been able to point him out in a line up.
Shane Richie
Yes, I definitely know Shane Richie.
Holly Arnold
I didn't know Hollie Arnold, who is a paralymic gold medallist, until the time of writing.
Jessica Plummer
I have only recently came across Jessica Plummer as she was on the front cover of one of the TV magazines I was using as a mouse pad over the summer! She has just left Eastenders after her character was killed off. Had I used anything else to rest my mouse, I wouldn't have known her.
It should be another good year as, barring just a pinch of names, I have heard of the majority of campers.
What stands out from this year's lineup is the lack of any football people. It had become a trend to have someone from the sport in there over the past few seasons.
