It's from a promotion called Taste Icons. The crisps firm has teamed up with some of Britain's most popular restaurants to produce flavours that are associated with the high street businesses.
The crisps I found were flavoured in the style of Pizza Express' American Hot pizza.
Unfortunately, I have never tried an American Hot. Therefore, I cannot state whether the crisps tasted anything like it.
What I will say, however, is I wasn't too keen on the flavour because I dislike some spicy foods.
The real toppings of an American Hot - as stated on the website - are: 'Pepperoni, mozzarella and tomato' with a 'choice of hot green, Roquito or jalapeno peppers on a Romana base'.
Pizza Express does have another Walkers flavour available. It's of the Margherita pizza, which is mozzarella and tomato,
I'm sure that flavour would be more suitable to my taste.
The rest of the range are:
Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken - I doubt I'll like this flavour
Las Iguana's Chilli Con Carne - Another flavour I'm unsure about
Yo! Katsu Curry - I like katsu curry from supermarkets, so would be open to trying this flavour
Gourmet Burger Kitchen's Classic Cheeseburger - I would love to try this flavour more than any of the others. With that said, I've never eaten anything from GBK.
