The Sony PlayStation 2 is twenty years old today.
I wasn't really that much of a PS guy back in the mid-to-late 90s. I was all-in on the Nintendo 64 and - if I am to be completely honest - the PlayStation games my friend owned didn't do anything for me. I wasn't keen on that system at all.
Fast forward to 2002 and I was at a colleague's home and spent an entire day playing Grand Theft Auto 3.
I had to buy one.
And I did.
I don't know how long I had it for because it eventually found its way to my nephew who began playing video games at a very young age.
The console was great, though. I'd have to be fair and say - of the PS2 and PS3 - I prefer number two. I had more fun on that one.
PS3s give me migraines, so that's another story for another day! Maybe when it's celebrating its twentieth...
