I've had Neighbours on in the background as I've been at the PC today and something has bugged me while watching it.
Jane Harris is back in it.
She was the niece of Mrs. Mangel and was given the nickname 'Plain Jane Superbrain' because she was geeky. Back in the 80s, there was a big story in the series where Jane went from being 'plain' to a stunner.
It was a big thing in Neighbours canon, but the character is now back and she's reverted to being plain.
In fact, she's more like Mrs. Mangel now.
I think the writers have done a disservice to the people who were invested in the original story. I feel like I wasted my time watching her evolution if she was going to end up like her nan!
