I have just found out that the Super Nintendo game, Super Mario Kart, was released twenty-five years ago this week.
All I can say is WOW.
The game didn't come out over here in the UK until a few months after it launched in the US and Japan. This could be incorrect, but I am sure this is the case.
All I know is I bought the game on Boxing Day 1992. I wrote about it in this post that was published in 2008.
I loved this game. It isn't my favourite of all time, but is up there.
The title will be included on the Super Nintendo Classic that is coming out next month. I have preordered the console, so am looking forward to playing it once again. Barring any unforeseen problems with my preorder that is!
