Heroes To Zeros

I thought it was disgusting how Leicester City sacked Claudio Ranieri yesterday.

The Italian manager took over the club in the summer of 2015. By May of 2016, he had turned the underdogs into Premier League winners.

Yes.

Premier. League. Winners.

Granted, the team is now in a relegation battle. They've also managed to remain in the Champions' League for the time being at least.

It was not the right thing to do. He deserved to be treated a lot better than that.

The irony of all this is, last year, the thing I wanted the most from watching the Premier League was for the Foxes to finish out the season and become champions. They achieved that and it became THE underdog story for a generation. After the dismissal of Ranieri, I would now like to see the team go down.
