The Death Of A Dream

It has been over a day since I heard of Claudio Ranieri's sacking from Leicester City. The situation remains a mess.

I still think the guy was mistreated.

His press release yesterday made me feel sorry for him. I won't rewrite all of it. The first sentence sums it all up:

Yesterday my dream died.

Realistically, the dream was over the moment he won the Premier League. It's easy for me to state that now that the manager is no longer with the club.

It still doesn't make it right. I stand by the opinion that he should have been treated better by the club. It would not have reached the heights it did last season if it wasn't for Ranieri.
