However, just as I was about to turn in for the night, I read rumours that Monday's edition of Raw was going to be amazing and we had to tune in for the entire show.
I NEVER watch Raw live anymore. It's too long and the commercial breaks tire me out. Ironically, I am an American football fan. Raw from 1am to well after 4am on a Tuesday morning is asking too much of me.
Side rant over.
I tried sleeping but couldn't. I then accidentally opened the Twitter app on my iPad not realising that Raw had started.
All I saw was 'Shane McMahon' this and 'Shane McMahon' that.
I put two and two together.
The answer was four.
'Not another McMahon family feud?!' was the thought that entered my head. It was probably the last thing I thought of for the day.
The following morning, I tuned into the recording of Raw. Shane McMahon did indeed return and a McMahon family feud was the way it went.
Vince put him in a match against The Undertaker for April's WrestleMania.
That's BS.
Seriously. It's one of the worst ideas for an Undertaker opponent for Mania.
Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed the odd Shane McMahon match. It's just that he isn't a good fit here. I abhor this idea.
It might be a bit early to state this because we're still weeks away, but I have a feeling I am not going to like the build-up to this year's WrestleMania.
Let's hope I'm wrong and things will turn around.
