Final Day 2014/15

It'll be Hull City that ends up relegated from the Premier League today. That's how it's looking, anyway.

The only other team that could mathematically drop is Newcastle United.

Hull has acquired 34 points this season and are in eighteenth place. The Magpies are above them with 36.

Obviously, Hull need the three points. They're going to have to fight for them as they're up against Manchester United.

Newcastle - on the other hand - are playing West Ham in what could very well be Sam Allardyce's last game in charge of the Hammers. He could play spoiler to his former club.

What would be a crazy situation is if Hull win and Newcastle draw to make the sides level on points. If this does happen, Newcastle will be sent packing as their goal difference is the worst.

My thoughts? I miss the days when there were so many angles that could play out on the final day of the season. I miss the fight at the top as well as on the bottom.

It's a funny old game. Sometimes.

Don't forget - I'll be publishing the Season Handicap Results for the 2014/15 tomorrow!
