WWE Network Revealed

As predicted, World Wrestling Entertainment announced that the WWE Network will launch on Monday February 24th.

I read up about it as soon as I woke up yesterday morning and everything that was said at the news conference was right on with the rumours I had read online.

The network will stream content twenty-four hours a day and will be available across a whole range of devices (Android, Apple, PlayStation, Xbox etc.) and will be priced at $9.99 a month although customers are locked in on six month cycles.

All upcoming  pay-per-views, especially WrestleMania XXX, will be available live on the channel as well as the back catalogue of WWE, WCW and ECW events from the past.

What a deal!

The only drawback, for yours truly, is the fact that the WWE Network will not be available in the UK on launch.

The press release states there are plans for the network to become available  'in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Nordics by the end of 2014/early 2015'.

I guess I'll have to wait.
