Is Randy Orton Cashing In At SummerSlam?

By watching weeks of build-up to SummerSlam, I've had a gut feeling that the end of the John Cena versus Daniel Bryan WWE title match will ultimately end in Randy Orton coming out, cash in his immediate title shot and leave the show as new world champion.

I don't think this will happen now, though.

Orton has appeared frequently in the angles between Cena and Bryan with the Money in the Bank winner contemplating and teasing that he intends to cash in his title shot imminently.

It's making me feel we won't see him cash in.

Not at SummerSlam, anyway.

I think back to that time when WCW was promoting a Vince McMahon versus Eric Bischoff match knowing that the WWE owner would not appear on a rival pay-per-view event. WWE ended up taking WCW to court. WCW's argument was they had gone on record to claim that McMahon wouldn't show up at the PPV event. One of the points countered against WCW's defence was that - in pro wrestling - if you say that something isn't going to happen, it does.

I'd like to turn that ideology around.

They've made so much of Orton potentially planning to cash in on Sunday's show that it won't happen.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict it will happen this Monday night instead.
