In an idiotic move, Southampton FC sacked manager Nigel Adkins yesterday.
The club is fifteenth in the Premier League and three points clear of the relegation zone so I think pulling the trigger on a manager who had won back-to-back promotions to secure Premier League football is a bad move.
Mauricio Pochettino has taken Adkins' place. He lost his previous job at Espanyol late last year when his side were doing poorly in La Liga.
How is this new appointment an improvement on what they already had?
