What Could Happen Tonight

WWE Monday Night Raw begins in an hour so I'm going to make this quick a quick prognostication.

Last week, I pointed out how it would have made no sense for Brock Lesnar to beat up Shawn Michaels as a way of building up Lesnar's match against Triple H at SummerSlam on August 19th. My reasoning was because it would have told an odd story where Triple H - or Michaels, for that matter - didn't get revenge in the end.

I still stand by my thought process. However, I'm leaning on another way they could tell the story.

Shawn Michaels is definitely going to be at Raw tonight. On last week's episode, he informed the audience that he will also be in Triple H's corner at SummerSlam. In this very same segment, Brock Lesnar told Triple H that he will see him 'in two weeks' and warned the Heartbreak Kid that he'll see him sooner.

So, this is what I'm guessing will happen - Brock Lesnar will beat up Shawn Michaels in an angle on tonight's show. The beating could be bad enough that he cannot be in Triple H's corner this coming Sunday which would be a distraction for HHH in the bout.

This scenario is all based on my thinking that Brock Lesnar is going to win the encounter on Sunday night.

It also goes against my 'the babyfaces will win in the end' idea.
