Orton Out

On Wednesday night, World Wrestling Entertainment announced that Randy Orton was given a sixty day suspension.

This punishment is a wellness policy violation and the sixty day penalty indicates it is his second suspension for violating the policy.

It's ironic that Orton could have been facing Chris Jericho at the June pay-per-view but the plans for that match were disrupted after Jericho was given a thirty day suspension for his antics with the Brazilian flag last week.

As for Orton, he should be back in time for SummerSlam which takes place on August 19th.

Orton is one of the top guys on the WWE depth chart so it will be interesting to see how he fares with two strikes against him. According to the rules of the wellness policy, a third strike will cost him his job.
