TNA announced that the company will be launching its very own hall of fame with the first inductee to be announced at the Slammiversary pay-per-view.
If this thing is being done to promote stars who have meant something to TNA and the business as a whole, they'll probably go with Sting.
If it's a random hall of fame where people who haven't even worked a match for the company can get inducted, they could go for the likes of Bruno Sammartino (who has refused to have anything to do with WWE for many years).
They could do the Hulk Hogan route just to make some use out of him.
The above three are not my overall favourite. That choice goes to Randy Savage.
If the rumours about him are true (Google it), I doubt he will ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame any time soon. Look at it like this, WWE were in Florida for the this year's ceremony and - with it being a year since he passed away - the right time was 2012. It didn't happen so I cannot see it happening. TNA are bold enough to do it because, cosmetically, it will seem like they are beating WWE at their own game.
If TNA wants to get some attention from wrestling fans who don't follow their product, I can guarantee Savage being named as the first inductee will generate some curiosity.
