If I am to be honest, I admit - I used to like it. However, the most recent series turned me off it and I have absolutely no intention of watching any of it this year.
If last year hadn't turned me off from it, the pretentious commercial plugging the 2012 edition surely would have.
I get embarrassed to be British watching the ad.
The angle of this year's show will be about how Britain can do good after all the rioting and looting that took place last year.
Yes, I've read a spoiler or two and - if what I think is right - we'll be seeing the troubles of 2011 being used by the producers to garner a sob story or two.
Harsh? Maybe. I guess that's the attitude you get when you've been fed a lot of rubbish over the years.
