On February 7th, I made mention of some news I was awaiting confirmation of before I broke it here on this very blog. I can now reveal it.
Remember when I spent all of 2010 and 2011 entering a competition a day in as a personal challenge? Well, I won $500 in a prize draw that I had entered on December 31st.
Yes, I won something on the final day of my challenge. It couldn't have been scripted any better, eh?
I didn't get paid until the early hours of Thursday morning as there was a lot of drama along the way and I'll be writing more about that later this weekend. Look out for it.
