Today's Big Game

It's the big game today.

And no, I'm not referring to the Manchester Derby.

The NFL returns to Wembley tonight when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Chicago Bears in a regular season match-up.

Both teams have played in the UK before.

Chicago came over for a sort of friendly game in the 1980s whilst the Bucs played a regular season game against the New England Patriots two years ago.

Ironically, both teams will be a lot different from when they last came here.

The Bears that arrived on these shores were the 1986 Super Bowl winning champions. The team of today are a 2011 NFC Championship game losing squad that is currently 2-3 in this current season. Their opponents were beaten 35-7 in their visit two years ago but, since then, have been improving. Their current season record stands at three wins and two losses.

Chicago could be the home crowd favourites in the game today but my feeling is the Bucs will be victorious.

At time of writing, Tampa Bay are one-point underdogs - if I had to bet, that's where I would leaning on.
