I had an idea for a blog post and was going to type it yesterday but decided to delay it until today.
And then the thing I was going to write became obsolete.
It started off with me wondering what had ever happened to people doing 'penny for the Guy' in the lead-up to bonfire night.
I had noticed that I hadn't noticed any children doing this for years so was going to question whether it was because I hadn't been observing closely or whether nobody did it anymore.
Then, as I was leaving the shop yesterday afternoon, I was asked by a pair of kids whether I wanted to donate to their Guy.
Funny, eh?
