It was quite shocking to hear of the Norwegian gun massacre that occurred on Friday.
The first I heard of the situation was when I saw the news report that a bomb had gone off in Oslo. I didn't watch any other news for the rest of Friday so was startled, on Saturday morning, when I found out that the bomb attack - which was shocking in itself - was the first act in Anders Behring Breivik's murderous plot.
It seems that, in massacres like this, the gunman usually kills themselves before they are brought to justice. Surprisingly, Breivik did not do this and is now 'co-operating with investigators'.
I don't know what's worse - a person doing this sort of thing and killing themselves before they can be caught or a person doing this, not killing themselves and being tried for murder.
I guess this kind of thinking is one that a person in favour of the death penalty would use. I know how they feel.
Sometimes.
