Cross Rhodes

I thought Dustin Runnels' autobiography - Cross Rhodes - was a missed opportunity.

Runnels', more famous as his stage names of Goldust and Dustin Rhodes, book had the potential to be great. After all, he was the son of Dusty Rhodes and has worked for the major American wrestling companies.

The main part of the biography highlights his time in WWE but barely touches on his time in World Championship Wrestling (what I would have liked to have read more than anything) and Total Nonstop Action.

There were a number of small historic inaccuracies in the book as well - something I dislike a lot when these things are published.

The only positive thing about the book is the message he sends. Runnels developed a drug habit and has managed to turn things around. It could inspire people in a bad way to try and change their lives for the better. I guess if it does do something like that, I will overlook the fact I was disapointed with this release.
