Sony's Welcome Back To PlayStation 3 Users

Sony has revealed the five titles that they are offering users of its PlayStation Network as a way to apologise for the security breach caused after the network was hacked.

European PlayStation users will have a choice of two of the five announced games - LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, WipeOut HD, Ratchet & Clank : Quest For Booty and Dead Nation.

I am certainly going to get LittleBigPlanet but decided to check out reviews for the remaining four titles to decide which other one to get. I'm currently leaning on inFamous but still have a few days to wait until the PlayStation Store is back up and running.

Here are exerts of reviews of each game that I have come across while trying to work out what to get. I hope it comes in handy.

"a beautifully elegant and powerful creative tool that puts unlimited potential in the palm of your hand"

"the future and the past of videogames, rolled into one".

"If you own a PlayStation 3, you cannot miss this. If you don’t have a PS3 yet, this is the reason to get one."

"one of the best PlayStation 3 games to date"

"when Infamous was released on PlayStation 3 in the spring of 2009, it quickly became clear that this was unlike any sandbox game anyone had ever played."

WipeOut HD

"nothing short of stunning"

"strikingly artistic visuals that are gorgeous to see in motion"

Ratchet & Clank : Quest For Booty

"a rollicking few hours, polished to a sheen and even better-paced than its full-length predecessors"

"Quest for Booty has been designed as a quick four-hour experience and it feels shortchanged because of it. Though its shooting and platforming sequences are fun and of high production, it still seems like there's something missing,"

Dead Nation

"features online and offline two-player cooperative play, a lengthy campaign littered with hidden treasures, hugely upgradeable weapons and armor, and tremendous replay value thanks to a host of difficulty levels. The fifth and final difficulty level -- "Undead" -- will leave you breathless!
