Ten, Ten, Ten

You've got to hand it to TNA - they did do an okay job in ensuring everyone remembered there was a pay-per-view today.

The 10/10/10 thing was pushed to the moon. Now, all they have to do is make sure they get the buys.

Oh, and they also have to make sure the 'they' angle isn't a letdown.

And I'd bet it will end up being one.

For months, Abyss has been talking about a 'they' that are coming to TNA. The initial rumour was that it was going involve Paul Heyman but he has backed out of talks with the company so I guess they're on to plan B.

Or C.

You see, Hulk Hogan turning heel was also in the works but he has been in and out of hospital with a bad back for the past few weeks. How do I know? Well, he has been posting videos on Twitter showing off how terrible he looks.

I'll tell you something, though. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did show up tonight.

Hogan working people is his M.O. although I am kind of believing that this current health setback is legit.

There are other routes that I can think of and all of them - even the Hogan one - has 'LETDOWN' written all over it.

I'll gladly applaud the company if the build-up ends up being worth it. I guess they've cried 'wolf' far too many times for me to believe that tonight will be a game changing angle that will have people talking for the right reasons.

Update - I typed up this post last night and set it to be published at 10:10am today (genius, huh?). Then, when I was listening to some podcasts whilst in bed last night, a few things sort of came clear to me in regards to Bound For Glory tonight. Kevin Nash has been going on Twitter saying that he is leaving TNA and I had heard an interview with Mick Foley yesterday where he said he was possibly not going to be at the pay-per-view. Add in the Hogan stuff and I think it is highly possible that tonight's show will end in one big swerve. Problem is, and like I noted in the post above, people have been swerved far too many times in the past for anything to mean anything. Expect a letdown.
