The Attack

I'm getting attacked by a load of spam messages on this blog.

Viagra, sex, prescription medication, working abroad - they have all tried - and failed - to get their message read.

It wasn't that much of a problem until a few weeks ago so I had to change the settings where I would allow or disregard comments. Ever since then, I've had regular emails asking for my permission to publish these messages.

It always seems to be the same posts as well - most notable of the lot is my coverage of the 2006 World Cup. I guess they automatically try and get published on posts with 'World Cup' mentioned due to those two words being a potential hot topic in the next few weeks.

I suppose this post will be the next one to be targeted because I've typed the dreaded words here.

But, it won't bother me too much.

It's only one click and they're gone.
