As I have mentioned a number of times on this blog, I've been competing in football tipping contests since early 2005.
I started off in lower leagues and - this past summer - I managed to get myself promoted to the Premier League on the site where I post my picks.
Each 'season' lasts eight to ten weeks so I have spent a few seasons in there already.
The most recent season ended with me winning the league.
I was in fifth place going into the final week and made a £65 treble on Birmingham, Brighton and Morecambe.
They won and I generated a £429 profit thus making my closing bank £559.
It's not real money, though.
At the start of each season - each contest has a £100 bank and can make their weekly plays using that as long as they don't bet with more than half of their bank.
I won £50 from the sponsor of the contest so I got something for my effort.
