There has been tons of press over an incident between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair at a press conference to promote the pair's series of wrestling matches to take place in Australia.
Most of the coverage - especially by the Aussie reporters - seem to misunderstand that this entire fight was a work.
Hogan either bladed or Flair punched him hardway in order to open up a cut.
The pictures and videos have made it across the Internet like wildfire.
Look at the clothing. How often do you see Hulk Hogan in a white shirt whilst promoting wrestling? White shows off the red more than any other colour. It's a tricks of a blade job.
Promotion is integral to building an audience so The Hulkster and Nature Boy deserve a lot of credit for getting the World interested in their feud.
It does, however, paint a poor picture for the wrestling industry when an angle between two ageing stars for an independent wrestling show makes the crossover to the mainstream.
When was the last time a TNA or WWE angle got this much exposure?
