I was listening to a professional handicapper on a Las Vegas radio station a few weeks ago and he made the bold statement that NFL games cannot be handicapped.
At the time, I ignored him.
Now - weeks later - I tend to agree.
It has been a season of peaks and valleys. Underdogs have covered the spread one week then the favourites have covered seven days later. Then, when you think there is a symmetry, things change again.
It's difficult to grasp which way to go and has been the main reason why my season has been dire.
Let's not even get onto the topic of NCAA football. My record on that sport is even worse.
