Vengeance Road

You may recall that, a few weeks ago, I read Six Seconds by Rick Mofina and noted that I enjoyed it immensely and would look for other titles by the author.

I kept my promise and ordered his most recent novel, Vengeance Road, and found it to be a good read as well.

Vengeance Road introduces Mofina's new character - Jack Gannon - a reporter for a small newspaper who stumbles upon a relation between a series of murders, a missing person and a well-known policeman. He then tries to unravel this correlation in order to catch the killer and get his exclusive story.

I was once again unable to pull myself away from one of Mofina's novels as I was caught up in the story and wanted to see its resolution.

To be honest, it wasn't as good as Six Seconds but it was very close and has prompted me, once again, to seek out other titles by the author.

I have now bought Mofina's debut, If Angels Fall, and I intend to read that and every other novel before the next Jack Gannon story - The Panic Zone - is published in July of next year.
