Isn't it ironic that Kevin Keegan - the anointed 'Messiah' by Newcastle United fans - is the one who may force the club into administration?
Keegan has a hearing where he will seek to claim compensation from Mike Ashley today.
The reimbursement is reported to be in the region of twenty-five million pounds which I believe is the tabloids adding a bit more to what will likely be the final result should Keegan prove successful.
Now, the question is - whose side am I on?
On one hand, I would hate to see Newcastle being forced into financial peril. On the other, I think Mike Ashley is one inept owner to open himself up to this sort of situation with the contract he had Keegan sign.
