After a near three month wait, Wrasslin.net - the domain name - is back in my possession.
I launched a website in August of 2008 but lost interest in it after a few days because the service I was using to run the site was, to put it bluntly, lame.
Mr. Site claims to be a 'website in a box' when you buy the product but what it really is is a glorified blog site that you pay a yearly fee for.
What ever you can do with Mr Site can be done for free on any blogging website.
When my initial year was about to end, I had the option of renewing and thought the best solution would be to back-order the Wrasslin.net name on another site and then hope that the people in charge of Mr Site would let the domain name go.
My gamble worked as the domain name was let go on Sunday and I automatically got my hands back on it.
I'm not even sure what to do now.
My main aim was to reclaim the domain name and I've done that. I might decide to use it as a wrestling blog but, as funny as this may sound, I am quite busy for the remainder of this year so may decide to kick off 2010 with the all new Wrasslin.net.
