September 12th 2009

As soon as the football fixtures for next season was posted this past Wednesday, the first game I checked to see was the one where Newcastle United play Cardiff City.

The game will be played on September 12th.

Coincidentally, this is the same weekend the NFL season kicks off and will therefore be the date I relaunch the 'American Football & Soccer Betting' picks posts on this blog. I will have to make sure the first bet for the initial weekend will be on this game.

I was by the new Cardiff City stadium today so I got out of the car and took a few pictures. I could see the pitch from the gap at the side and I also heard them testing the tannoy system.

So, I've seen the ground, now the question is who will I be cheering for?
