To Sky & Virgin, It's About Time!

I welcome news that Sky and Virgin Media have ended their stand-off which means a number of channels will return to my Virgin cable.

The two had started legal action against each other after Sky increased the charges to Virgin to carry certain channels on their service.

It resulted in Virgin canning channels like Sky One, Sky News and Sky Sports News.

I didn't watch much Sky One before the schism but I did feel it after I didn't have it. I would notice a commercial for a show that looked interesting and then I would realise it was on the channel I didn't have and I had to give up plans on watching it.

I missed Sky Sports News the most. Thankfully, Setanta Sports News started up and that was where I would go when there was breaking sports news. It wasn't the same, though.
