How Could I Forget The Plane Ride From Hell?

In yesterday's review of The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect, I forgot another thing that was not mentioned in the documentary.

In 2002, Hennig returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble and his performance won him a contract. But, by the Summer of that year, he had been fired.

The reason for his dismissal was due to what has been named 'The Plane Ride From Hell'.

The WWE crew were returning home from one of their UK pay-per-views and caused a major disturbance in-flight. Whatever they had taken or drank caused them to act in an immature manner.

Curt Hennig and Brock Lesnar got into a mid-air fight after arguing over who was the better amateur wrestler. They ended up wrestling each other and there were reports that both came close to spearing each other through the door of the aircraft.

Here is what was written about the entire incident on Google:

The infamous "Plane Ride from Hell" occurred after the 2002 event. During the flight, Ric Flair, Scott Hall and Dustin Rhodes allegedly sexually harassed the female flight attendants. According to one of them, Flair was dressed only in one of his robes and flashed his penis (while "spinning" it around). Others alleged incidents on the plane included a shoot fight between Brock Lesnar and Mr. Perfect arguing over their amateur skills, X-Pac getting drunk and shaving the hair of WWE road agent Michael Hayes, Dustin Runnels singing to his ex-wife Terri Runnels who also worked for the WWE and Scott Hall placing shaving cream on people's faces. After this flight, both Hall and Perfect were released from WWE.

  1. Of course Anonymous talks trash - what are you doing? Working in a factory. You try travelling for 51 weeks a year and see how you release your stress.

Those grown men acting like their 16 have accomplished more during their time in wrestling than tough guy "anonymous" will accomplish his/her entire life. Who's pathetic?
