One Star II

My review for the London Taxi game for the Nintendo Wii is now on the Play.com website.

I decided to do it after writing about it on here this past weekend. I decided to give the game one star and gave this post mortem the headline of, 'Avoid with caution.'

Here it is:

I bought this game for my seven-year old nephew. He enjoys it but I am offering a more realistic view of this game.Firstly, there is no substance to it. You drive around, pick up fares, attempt to take them to their destination and get paid. Once you have done this for 15 minutes or so the game becomes repetitive and tedious. The music in the game is even worse, it runs on a loop and will surely annoy you within five minutes of play.Like I said earlier, younger players will enjoy it but older ones certainly won't. It's a shame really because the idea of a Crazy Taxi type game is needed on the Wii with the steering wheel. The price at £17.99- despite looking good - is a rip-off if you think about the longevity of this game.
