I am the guilty one, Turbo Chef, as featured on the fantasy football blogs on here. For the last two years we have been in the Paltalk Fantasy Football League. Our rivalry has been fierce.
I am a humble person and will concede that Mr. E was right. All season his stock response to my emails and messages was 'it's a marathon, not a sprint.' How right he proved to be. My poor form in August and September allowed him to have a healthy lead. As time went on - I caught up with him. We swapped league positions on a regular basis proving his point that a quick sprint early on takes you to the front of the pack but makes you tired. You cannot keep the pace up over 38 week marathon season. Last year we even had a bet that he would do a duet with me at karaoke but as yet this has failed to happen.
Being a subject of ridicule on this blog on Wednesday September 12 2007 titled 'Too Much Time On My Hands' I had to have my revenge and included here today are my last two efforts of the season.
Recently, I produced two front page newspapers just to rub his nose in it very gently. As my moment of glory was nearly sealed and following recent conversations on the Sacked WWE wrestler, David Taylor and knowing his love of wrestling I could not resist putting his head on David Taylor the wrestler body with the headline 'things can’t get worse for the Taylor clan can they?' Followed with Mr E's head on Kevin Keegan's body when he was giving his legendary ‘I would love it speech’. It kept me amused for a while.
When his fate was sealed I had to make another front page this time his head was on Steve McClaren's body under an umbrella. We all know what happened to the England manager after that! No front page would be complete without me holding up the trophy basking in yet another moment of glory.
As it is FA Cup final weekend, no blog would be complete without a prediction. I think Cardiff will win 1-0.
I might not hear the end of it for a while but being half Welsh for one day and one day only I will support the bluebirds. I follow Bristol City who I predict will get to the premiership now, but I feel I could be on the receiving end weekly next season when they struggle in the top flight and results go against them.
One thing is certain I won’t have Bristol city defenders or goalkeepers in my fantasy footy squad next season.
Thanks to Mr. E for letting me highjack his blog. Please come back in 365 days to read my next episode titled 'Sex God united 3 Equinoxxx All Stars 0.'
I will luvvvvvvvvvvvv it when I beat him again, luvvvvvvvvvv it!
