One Star

Back in the day, we would mock fellow schoolmates who had bought terrible video games.

The way we established whether a game was worth playing was through the magazines that would rate them.

Anything less than ninety percent would be a no-go area. Anything lower than ten percent and you were crazy.

Fast forward to early 2008, I was sitting with my Nephew looking through soon to be released Nintendo Wii games and he got excited when he saw a game called London Taxi : Rush Hour and asked me to get it for him when it came out.

The release date was meant to be September but it arrived today.

When I found out the game was due to arrive here, I checked the rating from online reviewers.

It got one star out of ten.

Yes, one star!

In one purchase, I became one of those schoolkids from the '90s. But - I must admit - Josh is enjoying it so maybe it's not as bad as everyone else thinks.

That's my excuse, anyway.
