A Christmas Memory

Christmas memories throughout my childhood starting from the age of two.

- I got a police car that you pushed the flashing light down and it spoke saying something about 'hostages'. I remember asking my parents what a hostage was!

- My sister's first Christmas.

- The worst year for the family. My Nan died and we had a house fire, we were living in a temporary house this Christmas. I remember trying to teach my sister how to say 'Happy Christmas' when she was in her cot.

- Chicken pox.

- Getting a kiss from my teacher when I gave her a Christmas present. I was smitten.

- My first Christmas at junior school.

- The Christmas I was introduced to the film, Rocky.

- Playing a chicken in the school play.

- The episode of 21 Jumpstreet called 'Christmas in Saigon'.

- A small part in the local pantomime.

- Sega Megadrive.

- Christmas tips from my paper-round.

- My first CD player so I could play the WCW Slam Jam album.

- My final Christmas at high school and deciding not to go to the prom.
