I am sitting here stunned. I forgot to place my scoreline bet for my 'Scoring' posts on here and have missed out on a few winners.
The usual thing I do is work out what the potential scores are on the Thursday, post them on here and then on the Friday I place the bet. I completely forgot to place it this week.
I can't even understand why I would have forgotten. I have been trying to spend more time away from poker and betting recently but made sure I kept to this schedule to see if my system really works.
And it did.
If I had placed the bet this week, I would have been boasting about how great this system is working out. Instead I am blaming myself for this oversight.
I had predicted that Arsenal would win 2-0, Barcelona to be victorious 3-0 and Chelsea to score 2-0 away from home. I had two losers and a 1-1 scoreline in the Reggina versus Fiorentina game later today.
If that 1-1 score comes in it will add further insult to injury. Part of me is hoping it doesn't and the sadistic side is hoping it does just so I can prove I was right. But even then, I will be wrong!
Evening update - The final result ended up being 0-0 so I am slightly relieved that this one didn't win as well. Next week I will have to re-do week 6.
