I planned on titling today's post 'Back To Winning Ways' after ending up in seventy-seventh place in the Frenzy Freezeout tournament on Coral Poker last night.
Nine hundred and fifty-eight people entered the game and the top one hundred and thirty were paid out. As I came in the payout list I doubled my entry fee so walked away with ten dollars.
I wasn't disappointed with the result. Sure, it would have been nice to have left with the first place and a thousand dollars but there is something I have figured out - it is probably best to have continuous tournament finishes rather than a scattering of wins.
That's not to say continuous first place finises would be bad. It's just hard to be so dominant especially with the cast of opponents you encounter over the net.
I'm not winning but definitely not losing. I hope it continues.
