The Final Six

The December issue of Inside Edge was waiting for me after work today and as per usual I tore open the bag it came in and turned to the Gambling God page.

It was the last month for qualifying to the final and I had been dropping down from number one in May to near the bottom of the leaderboard of six. For the past three months I remained in fifth place and there was no change this time, either.

I held on!

The article wrote;

It's without further ado then, that we congratulate Dale Collett, Andy Coyle, Dave McAuley, Kevin Schofield, David Taylor and Paul Tweedie. These are the six reader-tipsters who will be competing in the final of 2006 Gambling God and deservedly so, given that they have managed to survive some seriously fierce competition over the past year.

I now have to start looking into the bets that they have set for us all this month. These include; Tennis, Rugby League, Football, Rugby Union, Cricket and Horse Racing.

We all start off with 20 points to bet using the bet365 site and email in our selections to the writer in charge.

The overall winner gets tickets to three days at Cheltenham in the Spring of 2007. The second placed tipster wins FA Cup tickets (please let it be me!!) and the third place gets £150 in free bets.
