Making Me Laugh 2: The Challenge

Two weeks ago I wrote an entry regarding a Betfred email that was sent to me. I found the accumulator suggestion that they offered was silly and promptly replied telling them it had no chance of winning.

I was proved right.

But that's not all.

A few days later I received a reply from David Mole at Betfred who compiles these betting suggestions and he told me he was sorry that I didn't find the picks satisfactory and that he did it in a way that the customers can have valuable bets rather than picking all the bankers.

His reasoning was acceptable as it probably is hard to find valuable accumulators with all the favourites in them. I still wouldn't have done it even if the reward was good as I find accumulators touch and go as you need all the selections to win. Multiple bets are the way to go!

The email didn't end there, however.

I was challenegd by the Betfred staff to pick six teams to win this weekend and if I get them all right then I will have £25 credited to my account.

I accepted the challenge and even went so far as to say; 'please bear in mind I am number five in Btritain's Gambling God competition run by Inside Edge magazine.' Obviously, I am having fun but they must think they have an egotistical sod before them.

The teams that I have picked are;

Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea
Burnley
Manchester United
Aston Villa

Unlike David Mole - I went for the bankers as I didn't need to find any value in my bet. I'm either going to win £25 or not.
