Testing Times

There is bound to be a lot of discussion online over the next few days about how the WWE presents tonight's Great American Bash pay per view.

The reason why there is a potential for debate on the event is because the comapny are still advertising a match as going to take place when they have suspended one of the participants following a medical test.

The Great Khali was set to wrestle The Undertaker in a Punjabi Prison Match. The mystique surrounding the match was one of the main selling points of the event and is sure to be a key in a number of curiosity buys.

The word has got out via a few wrestling news sources that the seven foot giant was found to have a high enzyme count in his liver and is set to be replaced by The Big Show.

The WWE has still kept people in the dark over the last minute change. It is a tactic known as bait and switch where they advertise a match but deliver something else.

People will claim that the WWE will have had no time informing fans of these changes but there has also been a suspension under similar circumstances to Bobby Lashley and his scrapping from the card has been acknowledged by the company on their website.

It's a sly approach to take but what else do you expect from a company that generates an income from conning people?
