I was told to bet on the 1-1 scoreline and under 2.5 goals in the Sweden V England game and was going to bet on it.
Until I saw the Dusty Rhodes DVD on pre-order, that is.
I had a decision to make - bet or buy the DVD now and save £10 before it makes it to the shops.
I have promised myself not to spend too much over the next few weeks on poker or football betting so adding a £20 DVD purchase was going a little too far. I had to give up something.
The three disc box set won out for me in the end. It's a good job as the score ended up 2-2.
