The Crossing

I was recommended a video on YouTube yesterday.

It was of an area in Tokyo, Japan where Shinjuku Station is located. Apparently, it's the busiest railway station in the world.

Going by the short time I sat watching the live stream, I cannot argue about the station's status as I constantly heard trains passing through.

The street outside was even more interesting to view. I couldn't get over how large one of the zebra crossings was.
Tokyo Shinjuku Crossing

I don't even know if it can really be classified as a zebra crossing considering they, and I quote, 'typically give(s) priority to pedestrians'.

With all that said, it's still obviously a pedestrian crossing of some sort and has the zebra pattern, so I suppose it must be a zebra crossing!

If it's available, you might be able to find the stream by searching for 'Tokyo Shinjuku Live Camera' on YouTube.
