Walkers Taste Icons: Yo! Katsu Curry Flavour Crisps

On July 7th and July 14th, I wrote about trying a couple of flavours in Walkers Crisps' Taste Icons range. I'm back with yet another flavour.

The Taste Icons range has seen Walkers partner with some of Britain's most popular restaurants to create flavours that resemble some of the popular dishes.

For example, on July 7th, I tried the Pizza Express American Hot Pizza Flavour crisps. A week later, I tried the Gourmet Burger Kitchen Classic Cheeseburger variety.

In one of the two posts, I mentioned that I wanted to try one more flavour in the range - the Yo! Katsu Curry.

Well, look what I've finally picked up:

Walkers Taste Icons: Yo! Katsu Curry

I have tried a packet. Unfortunately, I wasn't keen on them.

I've tried curry flavour crisps in the past. I've liked some and disliked others. I can't state that I liked the flavour, but - with that said - I cannot say I didn't like it. It just wasn't as flavourful as I expected.

I haven't tried the real katsu curry from Yo!, but I have eaten supermarket versions of the Japanese dish.

I'm not going out of my way to taste the other flavours in the range, Therefore, of the three varieties I have tried, the winner will be the Cheeseburger.

The Pizza Express hot crisps will go last because I disliked how spicy there were. So, that means katsu curry is second.
