This Thing About 2016 Being A Cursed Year..

You know that thing people have been going on about with the amount of celebrity deaths that have occurred this year? Well, I don't think there's anything to it other than the time we live in.

The reason why we're consciously aware of famous people passing and believing there to be some evil force at work killing them off is down to, in my opinion, how culture and media has changed over the years.

We have lived in an age of a boom in radio, television and cinema. The different ways of watching, reading and listening to media created room for more celebrities than back in the early 1900s.

2016 isn't a cursed year. It's just there are so many celebrities around nowadays at an age where people start beginning to pass away. I have no evidence. Just something that came to me after constantly seeing people blaming the year whenever a famous person has died. 

I'd like to see what excuse they give when this trend, if you can call it that, continues into 2017 and beyond.
