Street Fighter 21 Years Later

I was channel surfing yesterday evening and came across the Street Fighter movie on one of the movie channels.

Wow.

I remember going to see this film in the cinema when it first came out in 1995. The problem is, I don't recall if I liked it or not.

As for more older me - I disliked it. A lot.

I managed to get through ten minutes or so before turning off the television.

The movie is based on the Street Fighter video games that became popular during my childhood and are still a thing nowadays. I purchased the Super Nintendo game of Street Fighter II when it first came out in the autumn of 1992. It took them three years to capitalise on the success with the film.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is the main actor. I recall Kylie Minogue also having a role in it, but I had switched off long before she showed up in the story.

I must have hated this film when I was younger. If not, I need to get me a time machine because I need to make a trip back to 1995 and teach somebody a lesson!
