Gutted For Rollins

I was gutted for Seth Rollins last week.

The wrestler was injured during a house show in Dublin. He messed his knee up good and proper and will be out of action for anywhere up to nine months.

The thing that annoyed me the most was the guy had been WWE World Heavyweight Champion since this year's WrestleMania and it was a breath of fresh air seeing a new person holding the company's number one title.

Such a shame that the run ended the way it did.

WWE has announced that the next champion will be crowned following a tournament at the Survivor Series in less than a fortnight.

I had a feeling Roman Reigns was going to win the title from Seth Rollins in the title match that was originally scheduled for the show.

I don't know if Reigns will win it now or if it'll end up with him chasing whomever is champion.

On one hand, if the plan was for Reigns to win it here - and not at next year's WrestleMania - then they should still go in that direction. The only problem here is the company needs an antagonist now that Rollins is out.

It's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. Not just over the next two weeks, but all the way through to April's WrestleMania.
