What a development it was with FIFA suspending Sepp 'Teflon' Blatter and Michel Platini yesterday.
The only thing I ask is: why not sooner?
Surely, this sort of thing should have happened when the FBI swooped in months ago. Instead, it coincides with the threat made by some major sponsors of world soccer.
I think the entire organisation is dirty and should be done with. The only way to clean a stench like FIFA is to eradicate it and build something new.
Just saying.
