I was in an NFL Fantasy Draft last night and was in the third spot in the the draft order.
I knew I should have selected a running back in that position, but thought I would be giving up a chance to have Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck on my team.
Manning has been my go to selection for years, so I was close to picking him. However, in one split second, my mind froze. Possibly for the better (this will be determined over the next seventeen weeks). I have bought in to the idea that this is the Colts' year to win the Super Bowl. It was only fitting that I went with Manning's heir in Indianapolis.
I was hoping my favourite would fall into a later round, but he was picked up not to long afterwards.
Ask me in January if I regret this decision...
